Peace in the Land
Well it was quite the happening with Jordan here. He is ine fun and active little guy. Despite no pets in Chicago, he got along quite well with the gang. His best friend....Jake, His not so best friend....Milly, that was a suprise. He does not talk per se, but you know what he is trying to communicate, Maren is a great Mom.....totally unflappable. It remains HHH and we are expecting rain tomorrow....all day. Have not seen hide nor hair of Sparky, and we know training camp starts Friday in earnest. Mom and I are in constant motion doing this, or going there, but know major dragons are out there. Well we have a little one with Maryland Integrative that we will tackle next week.

The Heat Goes On
7/27/2009 17:12 - This being unencumbered stuff is a lot of work. It was a HHH day and the A/C was broken in the house. I stayed with the mechanic all day. It got fixed at 4 PM. The power came cak on at 7:00 this morning. M & the Woose are off to Carlisle; I can only hope that the damage is light. Tomorrow Jordan arrives, we will commence "babyproofing the house in the AM. I hope the woofers are ready for this. We shall see. Expected HHH with thunderstorms are forecasted all week. Ah, summer in Baltimore, it is like nowhere else.

July 26th, 2009 21:00 - Our power is out, and the house is without normal power, The generator has us working, but the A/C has been broken since Saturday. It is hot in the house, The storm that came through was a whopper. It took Woose and Chris 1 hour to get from St. Tim's home. We did not get too much storm damage, byt Chris got whacked with limbs down, He is stressing. Mom went to see NanNan to day with KAP. Suffice it to say the the decline has begun in earnest. I went with the Agape folks to Our Daily Bread this morning, where we served 500 meals to all walks of life. A great reminder of how good we have it. Talked to Uncle Bobby in New Hampshire and we caught up on the news. Well we are getting ready for NJ to pass through here this week. It will be aan adventure.
God Bless

7/23/09 20:46 - Mom and I just returned from an excursion to Annapolis. We went to the Lululemon store in the new shopping district off of Riva Rd.. This will no doubt become a destination for the females of the clan. The past two days have been in the mid 80's and we have gotten some much needed rain in the form of quick storms passing through. Rose has had a really good day....wandered around attentive to the world. Jake has discovered that some rodent has taken up residence under the barn. The barking never stops when he is outside. All is content in Dipping Pond.

The Week has Begun
July 20,2009 - 16:23 - It is a cloudy, but pleasent day here at Dipping Pond. Oscar is experiencing his once/twice in a life time teeth cleaning today. M &D were pretty much erranding the entire day, nothing of important, but all necessary to keep the wheels of progress rolling. It is a bit odd to not have an office to call in to check on the state of the nation, but it is also liberating as well. I am free and easy in a strange sort of way.

7/18/09 19:32 - The day was glorious low 80's and beautiful sinshine. A day to be outside for sure. After thre or four years parked in the garage we got the Gravely runinng and transported it to the Pinkard-Bowers ranch. It was a fun day working with CB in getting it running, involved a trip to Harbor Freight. Mom at the Box from 10-1 and then took on Nordy's with the Woose. At Harbor Freight we obtained a handheld electronic bee zapper that closely resembles a tennis racquet.........cool beans! The pictures and update from SA were outstanding, we cannot wait for more.

The real blogging begins
7/17/09, 14:32 - Hazy, hot & humid - normal weather for Baltimore. Well, we heard from the world traveler today. It provided much relief to know she was there and that the trip was uneventful in a good way. We were amazed that she was traveling with an old Calvert classmate (David Shea) What a small world. Some very positive discussions were had with a potential future employer. As Uncle Clarke always says......."onward and upward!"
